Shane seems to be the "I calls'em like I sees'em" guy and Garnett Lee seems to be the"Sunshine and rainbows" guy.
Wasn't really worth 12 minutes of my life. I'm going to go play Skyward Sword with my new gold nunchuck!

Good discussion and valid points about what happens to the multiplatform ports when the other two next gen systems come out. The happy shacknews guy had a good point too about how many people from 360/ps3 will migrate to next gen and how fast. If the sales are slow the developers will have to support the current install base longer.
Don't take it negatively but people buy Nintendo systems because of Nintendo games first and anything else is a bonus. They do get more support on their handhelds and only time will tell how the Wii U does in terms of getting 3rd party games.

Yep, if Nintendo keeps up the third party support, their first parties will stop some from switching to the other consoles, I doubt it though.

He and Garnett need to be on future episodes, I love seeing the two of them and both of their perspectives, because they are polar opposites.

some good points.
I can't belive they brought up dead space extraction. REALLY? this is not what the core wanted.
New IP talk again wtf? Wii Sports, Disaster: Day of Crisis. Excite Truck, Endless ocean. Granted most of these didn't do so good but they have tried creating stuff.

in terms of new IP it hasn't really done wonders for Playstation. There is a big difference what critics think and what consumers want. New IP's tend not to do very well. They are too big of a risk when HD games cost 30-60mil for triple A products. New IP's need to be created but there is a reason we don't see them too often
