maybe they just faced some problems later on and had to downgrade it a bit
otherwise it does not make any sense to get a version that isn't as good looking as the PC one

Sony has barely money to survive so why would they waste it to do damage for Nintendo?

A dev of that metro something game insulted it but then the manager of the studio did some explaining and damage control.
