Yeah... but those systems aren't even remotely out yet. Those developers must've had Wii U development kits for at least a year, right? Unless Nintendo was just that dumb.

here we go again but to be fair to the VGA's jessica alba did tell us about her early mario day that'll do for me

the biggest problem for nintendo is that microsoft are well entrenched in the USA with huge "online" audiences,loyalists aside that's a tough ask to break through,the gametab could do it though i guess

I'm not worried. Wii U hasn't been out that long so I don't think it is time to worry yet. And as far as the video games awards go, I didn't watch it this year. But I've watched it before and Nintendo is pretty much ignored at the video game awards.

Seriously, the first couple of years are very slow for consoles. Give it a year or two and a killer game in this period to see its sale increasing.

I really need to take off blinders because they are preventing me from seeing that the PS4 and 720 are out and we are well into the next gen. They must be getting the 3rd party support and none for the U.

Wii U is competing right now with PS3/360. It's not even the lead console there so what makes you think it will be the lead console for next gen games?

It just came out. How are you expecting it to be the lead console of this gen? However, next gen will be different in that all three consoles will more than likely be using similar architectur of using GPGPU instead of heavy CPU usage that we see this gen. By then the U will have a solid user base and be the most familiar with developers. All could lead to the U being the lead console and games being ported to the PS4 and 720. His is quite possible.

Unlikely. You seem to have overlooked the fact that developers are already making PS4/720 games...

The big 3rd party developers probably haven't even touched a Wii U dev kit. I know that games like AC3 and BO2 weren't ported directly by the devs who did the PS3/360 versions.
