Shouldn't give Nintendo gamers ports then, were not stupid, we want new fresh games

They're late ports because the U wasn't available at the launch of these recent games.
Also, if you want new IPs and not multiplats, I'm sorry but the first step is multiplats, then reluctant 3rd parties can consider fresh new IPs. We're just not there yet.
Also, many folks don't own multiple consoles, so multiplats are just fine from a market point of view.

Ah yes, I see what you did there.
Tell me, how many COD game's have been released on the Wii? Were they exactly the same as the 360/PS3 version? Same quality? Same features?
Did they even all launch at the same time?
I understand what your point was, but the comparison is flawed.
Anyway enjoy the Wii U doom. We have only just begun to discover how truly doomed it, and Nintendo is!

and i will edit this one too
I guess by your logic, publishers expected bigger income with for example cod:mw3 on wii than on 360. Obviously wii had bigger install base = it will bring more money! omg |
"Install base is irrelevant when it comes to generated income." <- someone hire this guy!! he knows whats what in business!
/s
on a serious note .. you really think BLOPS2 on wiiU to sell so high?.. really?.. especially on a recently launched system ?.. are you that daft! ?
BasilZero said: The install base for PS3, Xbox360 and PC are higher. Why would anyone be surprised that multiplat titles sold less on the Wii-U? |
that's not what people are surprised about, ofcourse it would sell less on the WiiU, but it's low attachment rate is very surprising considering it just released and there are not many consoles in peoples homes - usually attachment rates for launch games are pretty high at start (see NSMBU, Nintendoland)

Like publishers, I am not really interested in your excuses. It is the money which talks.
But I'll leave you with this rhetorical question:
How many of your excuses do apply on the cod on wii u?

Well, at least I know better than you do. Granted, that is not much but at least it is something! Maybe...
Maybe some people are not as wealthy as you and can't afford to buy a new system with 4 or 5 games, I no I can't, I would of loved a few more games but as it stands I only have zombi u.

There's no question that those core gamers who love Call of Duty will RUN, not walk, they will RUN to the nearest place to get wii U on launch day. Nintendo doesn't need to bother telling them until right before the game comes out, then it's a done deal for those types of gamers. E3 is a big event where the news leaks to mainstream crap like CNN, so Nintendo focuses on more family-oriented stuff, and purposefully they leave out some important "core" titles. |
i wouldn't say no one.. this is my personal favorite of the CoD wii U will be huge posts.
