90,000 is massively overtracked, I have the game, go online with it, there's barely anyone online though it's getting a little better the last couple of days.

A big multi-platform sells the least on a new (just launched) platform.

If that would surprise you, this sales website might not for you (IMO).

The biggest franchise on the planet selling only 20k for Wii U on opening month does surprise me a little actually.

Even COD on Wii in Nov. 2006 (Wii launch) managed 48k with roughly the same userbase. And that was a heavily downscaled port from when the franchise was only a fraction of as popular as it is today. 

I wasn't expecting sales comparable to the PS3/360 obviously, but these are very, very low.

I should add, it really isn't surprising, but sad and frustrating at the same time from someone who likes 3rd party games.

At the launch I went to a few people were moaning about how 3rd party doesn't support NIntendo. Yet the only game they picked up with their preorder was you guessed it NSMBU and NIntendoland (packed in). As far as I could see from the 70 people who come to launch, I was the only one who didn't get mario lol. Most people who picked up a 3rd party game did get zombiu.

Nintendo has A class first party support though.

I think the numbers of ZombiU are more interesting for 3rd-party than the numbers of ports. Why should people buy new consoles, if they can play the game on the ones they already own.

So, it is 90k on Wii U and 7.4m on 360. If I were a publisher, I guess I would not bother porting next game on Wii U.

Those Wii U numbers are just terrible.
