MGS Peace walker was called MGS 5 too, but it ended up not happening. Another strange thing is though is that the fake name is really Kojima ogre... I thought he said OGRE wasn't MGS?

Yeah I know, plus his recent statements abiut wanting to move away from MGS.

IDK i think theres something wierd going oj with The Phantom Pain.  Its gotta be MGS related due to there being characters in the trailer but at the same time looks reaaaaaally trippy and wierd.  IDK maybe Kojimas doing some alternate timeline stuff or something?  I know a lot of people are saying thats the Sorrow in the trailer but Im almost positive its Psycho Mantis as he does his signature pose

MGS Ground Zeroes = MGSV = The Phantom Pain

btw. the graphics are some of the best I´ve ever seen.

Some user from neogaf speculating Ground Zeroes is in MGS5 as a prologue, it kinda makes sense:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=45209554&postcount=2268

"Ground Zeroes is the prologue to MGS 5. Just like the tanker was to MGS 2 and Virtuous Mission was to MGS 3. "

Reference to MGS2? similar to the skin of a snake? or just floor? :P

Same soldiers from Ground Zeroes?

People at the VIP section of Konami wearing Phantom Pain T-Shirts, they aren't swedish:

Doctor Kio Marv?

Logo

Same scar?

Volgin?

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

@jdevil3

Awesome post and wish I coukd put all that in the OP from my mobil :(

Couple things Im confused on though are how the hell is Volgin in this? Its obviousky him in the trailer though

Which Snake is this? All sign point to Big Boss but im not aware of a time frame in which he had a prosthetic arm at the age he was.

Is whats hapeening in the trailer all hallucinations caused by Psycho Mantis as Snake keeps asking if hes dreaming or if its real, and you seem to see Mantis at the end of the traiker?

From Big Boss' wiki:

“Big Boss lost his right eye, right ear, and his limbs after his battle with Snake in the original Metal Gear, and became the first test subject of Madnar’s Snatcher Project, in which his limbs and injured organs were replaced with state of the art prosthetics, supposedly under the supervision of an unidentified despot in the Eastern Bloc.”

Big Boss lost his right eye in MGS3.

@Jdevil3:

Yes that makes a lot of sense! I wont be surprised if Ground Zeroes is some sort of Prologue though it seems to be much more in depth than the Tanker Incident or the Virtuous Mission.

That would make 100% sense. That would be a even bigger troll om Kojimas part. He literally told us GZ is a prologue to MGS5... a he meant that..like literally

volgin is a phantom, probably not thee volgin just some supernatural spirit like The Sorrow

Lol as for Volgin...I think Kojima is trolling us there. HOWEVER it could have something to do with Psycho Mantis similar to how Snake (Big Boss) encountered the Sorrow in MGS3. My guess is that Big Boss loses his arm in Ground Zeroes but gets a high tech prosthetic for MGS5? Either way thats some cutting edge technology for the 80s and 90s lol.

It'll be so cool to have Psycho Mantis back in MGS5.

Might be an hallucination caused by Psycho Mantis but how old was he at that time?

Maybe it's not Volgin but Big Boss in the Hallucination?

Two Phantoms were born?

Motion capture for the car crash scene in the trailer?

I'm taking all this from NeoGAF by the way.

from here to be more specific: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=503254
