When the Wii first came out I imagined that we'd be seeing at least 2 more Wii sport titles. But as Nintendo branches out in other directions (like Wii Fit) and Other games Like Mario and Sonic spring up. I'm actually inclined to to think that they'll hold off on another Wii Sports until they're next console.

Wii sports has become one of the major console selling games of our generation. And I think they'd want Wii Sports 2 to do the same. Especially since their next console will probably have much improved motion control.



I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

 I don't think so.  They'll package WS2 in with WS with the Wii, sell it at the same price and also sell WS2 separately for those who bought a WS bundled Wii.  It'll be a fake price drop. :P

Wii Sports Online wll sell like crazy and provide a major boost for Nintendo's Wi-Fi plans.

they won't make wii sports 2 for the wii

they'll make wii music, wii motorsports, wii fit, etc

and the point of wii sports is to show people how the wiimote works and why it is the control method people want to use, thus forcing them to buy a wii, as the 'competitors' cannot compete on that front since they don't have full motion controls...and it's to show that people can have fun playing as a family, not sitting alone in parent's basement playing people online

it's very likely, also it would be great if they could bundle a new wii sports with future consoles, just for a change......

i hope they increase production, just like the Nds

Nintendo would be smart to separate Wii Sports. Bowling tends to be the most popular game in the package. Nintendo could release Wii Sports Bowling and add more features like tournaments and head to head online (if and when Nintendo adds online support). For $20 to $30 dollar price I think Nintendo can make some money.
