That was monster numbers, for this time of the year, not this.

Apparently I was wrong ^^ don't know where I got the numbers from now... How many days does that account for for PS3 and xbox360?

EDIT: This graphic is actually broken. That week is ending with December 10th, when Xbox360 actually went on sale on December 2nd, and it's first weeks numbers should have ended on the 3rd of December, so this graphic is actually showing TWO weeks worth of sales.

This is VGchartz data. And yes the Xbox part of the graph is broken (it actually looks like the week ends on dec. 17th). But the PS3 part is right : it released on March 22nd so the peak represents 3 days of sales.

But I still stand by my comment that it's pretty good numbers. Could have been better, sure, but it's not bad. I think we'll have a better picture with the next numbers... I'm pretty confident saying it'll do 150k-200k at least... haha might have to eat crow because of this :D

Really I thought Xbox dominated Christmas since the PS3's first Christmas in 2007

2007 and 2008 were a 360 year in the holidays season but not by a huge gap like last year (2011)... PS3 won 2009 and 2010.

So there is no Christmas dominance (except 2011) like everybody here thinks.

This year seems like the others year 360 won... 360 over by ~200-300k.

Those kind of games will never sell more then 1-2 million copies.

Even Borderlands 2... It got soo much attention but will never sell more then 2-3 million on each system

Yeah I know, and it will probably sell more in the U.S as usual, but I did expect a little beter opening for Europe. Having said that, currently playing it myself, not too impressed yet.
