Actually, this is rather false. It has been proven by multiple studies around the world that religious people are far happier and more satisfied with them and their lives than irreligious people. It's also well know that religious (well, Christian) organizations and missionaries have helped and donated waay more help (education,food,shelter...) to Africa than any angry basement dwelling atheist could ever hope to do. Also, wars in Africa are usually led because of tribe differences, not religion. I think you got this web site confused with reddit.

the best thing the world can do is to let africa fend for itself and stop trying to help them. they will never build their own infrastructure if they dont need to, and they will never develop the leadership they need if we keep throwing money at them. at most we should send them seeds to plant, and possibly raw material, but no finished products and no money. and no food.

curious.   this sounds like an endorsement of my position and a call for greater action.   not something i would have expected from you.

I never said the reason the africans were at war with each other was religious, I said if we took it over, they would resist us on the basis of religion similar to what happened in Iraq.  Also the reason why atheists are less happy is simply because our population has the highest intelligence.  With intelligence also comes insanity, smart people are riddled with the insane or mentally unstable.  That's why so many of us are home dwellers, we have a lot of people who can't work anymore.  Smart people also have the most stressful jobs. etc etc, your argument is one sided, half assed, and dumb.

And so what if you've donated more, the donation schemes the world uses is a joke.  Every fast food restaurant has its own charity doing exactly the same thing as the last one creating redundancies  in the system like no ones business spending an ungodly amount of money on waste.  All just so that mcdonalds can put its name on its own charity.  Or the homeless who beg for food outside a convenience store only to return the food they got a second later then start browsing the dvd section.  Id rather just invest in a companies stock and support them that way. 

Most of Africa that is in need is christian already , so that point is dumb. And you said because you're more intelligent (!?), that you're more likely to be insane, mentally unstable, stressful and unemployed ? Wow, it sure sucks to be you than. And my argument wasn't one sided, it wasn't even an argument really, just the fact i stated. If you wanna see a dumb argument, look no further than ''religion is designed to create great suffering''. Why is that religious people are happy and atheists are sad, self loathing and miserable then? It seems to me that the one who is insane, mentally unstable, stressful and unemployed the one who suffers.

And the help christians have given Africa is billion times more helpful and useful than any of your starbucks pocket change donation or up voting page on reddit ever did. So religious organizations have helped Africa way more than any other type of organization.
