Michael Pachter appears to be generally clueless about the videogame industry. All of his statements consist of a mixture of platitutes and nonsense. In short, he brings nothing of value to the table. I can't recall a single insightful statement made by him; his predictions are preposterous more often than not, which seems to be his modus operandi to ensure continued public attention.

If you stop quoting Pachterdamus, he will simply disappear.

He's a real analyst that works for a pretty prestigious firm. There isn't any reason to ban his quotes. He isn't right all the time, but any time you are trying to predict the future you are bound to be wrong some of the time.

You have to understand that he isn't saying the things he does based on a gaming perspective. The stuff he says is more of what the companies need to do to make a profit. That is all pachter ultimately boils down to, what these companies need to do to make a profit.

Agreed, Pachter quotes are essentially trolling, there is no other purpose to posting quotes from a guy who hasn't a clue about the videogame industry and clearly has some sort of twisted vendetta against Nintendo,

I think you are clueless. He's supposedly a finacial analyst at Wedbush Morgan, not a video game industry expert. Maybe he doesn't suck quite as bad in that capacity as as he does when talking about the game industry; otherwise he would probably be unemployed by now.

It is always fun to read what he has to say. Same with whateve reggie has to say as well.
