ME2 had some problems as well, but it got sorted with a patch. maybe they'll do the same here. But the PC version is so damn cheap i might just get it anyway, at least for the first one. Does anyone know if I get a hard copy will there be issues. Im running Win7 and ive had bad experiences trying to run older games on newer OSs

Honestly, I didn't hate the game (or the series), but it's so incredibly overrated by the media and the internet. Fun, but full of so many issues.

so far the game having a good performance for me.

I will be getting the trilogy when i'm done with either bioshock series (just got the first), jak series (about 50 % done) or the god of war series (finished 3 out of 5 games). Or i might just get it sooner as one of the first pc games i buy.

On 360 if you install the game to the HDD then the loading and texture streaming is greatly improved. I can't believe after 5 years years the PS3 version sounds like shit even fully installed. Thats a piss poor effort from Bioware or whoever did the port. I thought they were going to use the ME2 or 3 engine.

Disc or Digital version though? I was gonna get it off the Store last night since $15 is nothing really, but now it's obvious why it's so cheap: no effort in the porting.

I was gonna argue that the first game wasn't lauded, but looking at the metacritic, I'm wrong.  That's all.

It most certainly won GOTY awards. Of course, I could have been incorrect on that.
