So the same as the 360 version then? That one had the exact same problems.

Played the PC version once. Didn't enjoy the experience because: KB+M inferior to DS3 (just a muscle memory thing and I can't be arsed re-training these aging hands to get used to KB+M control); lack of couch seating option; small screen close up
So I'll get ME1 for PS3 because: TROPHIES!!! and couch.

Well, to be fair it runs worse than ME2 and ME3 on PC too despite having inferior graphics. I wonder if we'll see the whole trilogy released on the Wii U... and hopefully running better than this.

Doubt it.. EA hates Nintendo... they couldnt put origin in the wiiU lol
From this I could only confirm that the PS3 is far weaker than the X-Box 360. Because that's what poor ports mean.

Actually, the PS3 is more powerful, albeit, ever so slightly, but this 5-year-old port "confirms" nothing dealing with that. Would you also give confirmation that the WiiU is weaker than current gen because of the bad ports it's received? |
Apparently my sarcasm goes unappreciated round these parts.
I love and this generation of gaming. Mass Effect was lauded and loved, but looking back a few years later, people realize it was an incredible, buggy mess. Looking forward to the same realization with all of Bioware's and Bethesda's games.
Well, I have just bought it off the PSN store and it's downloading at the moment. I've been on the BSN forums and people there aren't reporting such technical difficulties. No screen tearing at least, as this port seems to be V-synched and texture-popping is diminished in comparison to the Xbox 360 version.
I shall see for myself in a couple of hours.

I was about to argue against you cause I remember IGN gave the game an 8.5 or something like that. Then I went to its metacritic and it's sitting at 91. I have no argument :(. PC version wasn't really buggy though.
