Not really, no. I took a closer look (since it was ridiculous that they ask people to pay when everyone who owned a copy before has it in abundance) and it seems that the item in Steam shop is early access and a bunch of items. Quite a lot of them, to be precise.

I actually have a friend who bought it after I got it for free...

That's how my Holiday has been too, way more time working.  Hopefully you end up liking most of it, if so it shoud get you a lot playtime.
