Or it could be as simple as a majority of those PS3 exclusives are simply not appealing franchises to most people. MS has big guns sales wise like Halo, Forza, Fable, and Gears. Sony has big guns sales wise like GT, Uncharted, LBP, and God of War. Both companies sprinkle in other franchises that don't sell nearly as much. Do you think Resistance 3 sold way less than Resistance 2 which sold way less than Resistance 1 because Sony gamers were struggling to choose between it and God of War 3 or is there just a dwindling interest in a franchise that only became a huge seller because it launched with the system?

There's also XBLA to consider. MS puts way way more emphasis on putting AAA quality titles on there than Sony does their own network.

When they were boasting I was pretty young. I dont remember that let alone being on a site like this. When they were on top E3 wasnt really the big thing.

E3 was always big.  It was the CES that wasn't a big deal (by comparison).  I even had a demo for the PS2 from the Official Playstation Magazine 2001 that let you walk around E3 on your console.  I can't really describe it and I never saw anything like it again.  It was like a Google Maps street view of E3--pretty amaizing in '01.

There's a thing called slang and internet lingoes buddy, don't know if you ever heard of it... There's a difference between intentionally spelling something wrong and actually spelling something wrong. 

ahh the good old discussion about exclusives only taking the games in account which let 360 or ps3 look better.

i'm pretty sure no ps3 nor 360 have really an advantage if you look at everything they have for gamers since release of the consoles.

To those sony fans: if you don't like 360, please leave this tread and don't down play the success of 360. In VGCHARTZ, 360 fans are far less than PS3 fans, but we still deserve a place to talk about our favourite console, don't we?

Sony is the most humble gaming company ever.

MS does seem to do better around these times leading to January, certainly with lengthen the game between the PS3. Its still a long way to go before it overtakes the Xbox 360.
