They'll do fine. They also on marvel who in recent years have come out with a few awesome movies. Stop stressing..... Or whatever it is you guys are doing! Hahaha.

no wonder the newer X-Men films sucked and that also explains how shockingly bad the Spiderman films are...

20th Century Fox still owns the movie rights to X-Men, and Sony Pictures Entertainment still has Spider-man. Disney distributed The Avengers not that, that means much as all the non Spider-man, X-Men, The Fantastic 4 and Ghostrider are all produced by Marvel Studios which is a self contained semi-indipendant production company that has been building the Marvel film universe long before they were aquired by Disney. Marvel Studios is responsible for all things marvel movies that dodn't have existing licensing deals, that is why The Increadible Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and finaly The Avengers all have interconnected elements.

Honestly, I think Disney buying Lucasfilm is probably the best thing that could have happened for Starwars ...

Disney will milk the franchise but they will probably try to keep the quality level of their products high to preserve and grow the current fanbase. Disney could probably release a "color-by-numbers" Starwars movie every other year for decades and be (pretty much) ensured of a few hundred million dollar box-office; and they can produce cartoons, videogames, comic books, novels, and other associated merchandise and make billions of dollars a year.

pure gold, thanks, the han & lando dance,it's the one i'd choose anyway

not sure why people hate on the star wars world,i like it personally and always have,i'm sure disney will do fine bring it on

I'm a little concerned about Disney, the children's animation studio that created Mickey Mouse, handling Star Wars, but on the other hand, at least they didn't create Jar Jar Binks.

Yeah that song and dance number in the Avengers really ruined it, hope Episode 7 doesn't suffer the same fate.

Some people are getting a little too defensive here. I am, actually, a defender of the prequel trilogy, and i'm not one of the people who think that Disney is going to do anything bad to the franchise (generally they are more "hit" than "miss" across the board on their brands lately. Getting rid of Eisner probably helped).

This thread itself was just to poke some fun.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Did Disney ruin Marvel with the Avengers film?

I just find it really funny that people somehow think Disney has no idea how to run a media company given their recent track record, and historical roots.
