Because it doesn't make sense. The OP is giving his opinion based on how he feels. You cannot say that his opinion is wrong. In what way can it be wrong? 

An opinion cannot be wrong unless that opinion  says someone else's opinion is wrong. There, anymore questions?

People attacking the thread creator rather than giving valid reasons for why his views could be wrong. Not just that, but attacking people who have nothing to do with the thread.

Quite the behavior I must say. He has already admitted that he has no issue with anyone here paying. He just wishes you could get it without having to pay.

Last year when PSN was down I could still watch Netflix on my 360.  You cannot have an objective debate when you ignore the fact that by paying for Live you get benefits such as a superior anti cheat policy, better more reliable infrastructure, gold accounts cost money so people are less likely to misbehavior.  You're also paying for all the extra services to be linked through in a more seamless experience. You brought the PS3 into this not me....

You could still watch Netflix when PsN was down. Not sure how it works now, but back then it wasn't required to be logged into PSN.

A persons ability is not subjective. A person view on Microsoft's business strategy as a gamer, is subjective.

What so he can play on the 360 he supposedly sold 5 years ago.  Look at his Sig then read the Op again, nobody insulted him they said his points were garbage, but then we already know that having had this discussion in hundreds of threads already (making this thread on dubious ground imo).

I hate the argument with the Apps. No one is buying an Xbox to watch Netflix as the number 1 reason to get it. Netflix is an app/service that Xbox Live Gold members get to use. So please stop using that baseless argument.

If Sony started charging for their online service will you pay it so you can play online? Because if you do you and everyone else who has complained over the years then become hypocrites.

I agree with wishing gold was free but I know it's not, so I don't comment. Live Id is Euphoria14 and I have around 7-8,000 gamerscore. Sold my 360 only because MS changed focus from the early days of heavy JRpG support.

The attacks btw were people saying that he and Sony fans are bored and desperate. No idea why they are though since they have Bo2, Ac3 & a bunch of other high quality titles.

It just kills any discussion if there was indeed discussion to be had.
