How can you digitally download a console? :0
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
I don't think Nintendo even shipped 600k, so some of you will be disappointed I think

Maybe ...
All I know for sure was the system was sold out (pretty much) everywhere early on Sunday, people started reporting it being in stock in large numbers on Wednesday for Black-Friday sales, and it was mostly sold out again by mid friday. Looking at Black Friday last year, the XBox 360, 3DS, Wii, and PS3 all sold over 800,000 units that week all of them seeing 2x to 3x their previous weeks sales; and even the "dead" Nintendo DS sold 340,000 units that week.
I agree 100% that it is unlikely that Nintendo shipped much more than 600,000 units for day one but the second shipment creates a lot of uncertainty to how many units they sold.
500k first week in America. Anything else is unrealistic and impossible.
