Quite good numbers considering the game got a metacritic score in the 30-40 range. Plus I'd assume digital sales are around 20% on most vita titles, so the actual sales are probably closer to 150k. Did anyone on here actually buy the game?

I think the COD brand alone sold those games. Most gamers are not into checking reviews for every game that is about to release. So they just bought it because they like COD.
It could have sold, in part, due to the Call of Duty name alone. Also, from what I've read, the multiplayer portion of the game is decent. They are some people who skip the single player portion of COD games and just stick to multiplayer.
I bought it on the day of release before reviews came out thinking it would get around 60s on metacritic.
Single player is garbage, multiplayer can be good when things go smoothly
The reviews are absolutely ridiculous. It's not a 30 game. There is a double standard with portables. The critics wanted a port of Black Ops on a handheld and the vita was held under the microscope for perfection.
Case in point: any COD game on DS

I agree and yet disagree.
Vita is billed as console gaming on the go. It's supposed to be a portable PS3-lite. In that respect, critics have every right to rip it to shreds because even if it was on 3DS this would be a disappointment (although, more expected and tolerated).
If they can make faithful CoD ports to Wii, they could have made one for Vita.
This is good??
Without order nothing can exist - without chaos nothing can evolve.

I think the bigger is issue is that EA didn't want to do cross play and thus released a different version of the game hoping to cash in on more $$

hey should have just made a really deep, fufilling multiplayer component that would complement Black Ops 2 perfectly, including some excluives which you can download onto your ps3/360 version provided if you bought the Vita one 2. and finally it shouldn't be a full priced either..

not to mention its not like the COD DS games got great reviews themselves, and the last few have sold like crap
