Forums - Gaming Discussion - I just wanted to make a thread about Nier

Yes.

Let's talk about this gen's most misunderstood game. Let's.

I still think about the game every now and then remembering that big city by the sea or that amazing song played by that girl by the fountain.

What's your best memory of the game?

Btw I always liked that quote from the Gamecritics review which to me describes the game best:

"With Nier, Cavia has done the seemingly impossible, and created something entirely unique from nothing but borrowed components"

I have the game but I didn't get very far into it before I was distracted by something else. All I really remember is that Jim Sterling acted like it was the antichrist. That's probably why I bought it in the first place.

Is it worth giving another spin?

There's nothing more important to do in your life right now than playing Nier.

Oh and Jim Sterling hating it should be proof enough that it's worth playing.

I love Boutros. No really, I love you.

Nier had a larger impact on me than any game I've played in over a decade. It's not the best game, but it's incredibly unique and definitely moving. I can't recommend it more to people.

Nier was an amazing game, and it's such a damn shame that we probably will not see any further entries into the series. I loved Weiss, Kaine, and even Nier. It didn't have the best graphics or even the best combat, but man was it a blast to play through and through.

I don't think I've ever heard of this game. seriously.

I love Nier My favorite part is when one of the party members well its kinda a spoiler but I love the game.

Planning to get this game in the future although the price point it is available...is quite tempting for me. $9.99.
