Forums - Nintendo Discussion - IGN gives Mass Effect 3: Special Edition a 9.5 out of 10! Says it is just as good, if not a little better than other versions. Game pad in for the win again!

pfft all of sudden we should trust ign scores? since its giving a wiiU third party game a highscore?..

Avoid all things EA on the wiiU .. seriously guys.. anyone who wants to play this should just get the trilogy on other platforms for a cheaper price... no one should waste their money on this.

I disagree. I have no reason to get the first two (since I don't care about the first and already played the second), I don't play PC games, and I don't own an Xbox. I want the third game on Wii U which comes with a better interface and pre-loaded DLC for free.

Also, why avoid all things EA on Wii U?

Mass Effect franchise is really fun. Get on this Wii-Uers.

Except on Wii U it's not a franchise...yet.

I played Mass Effect on PC after I'd completed Mass Effect 2 on PS3 and I thought the experience of ME added somewhat to the appreciation of the over all story. However After having played Mass Effect I didn't come to the conclusion that I would have missed out if I'd just played ME2 and 3 and seen the interactive comic. I think if they do for ME2 on Wii U what they did for ME on PS3 then the over all package will be reasonably satisfactory.

I disagree with the reviewer that ME3 is the best game of the series. Ignoring the contention around the ending of ME3 (I didn't mind it all that much) I enjoyed ME2 more as a game. ME3 missions were a bit one dimensional in terms of the nature of the enemies you faced. With ME2 there was better variety.

LoL, definitely not expected after all those rumors about lag and lazy port and stuff...

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

So ME3 gets good reviews, it should sell a lot. If it does not sell a lot, some developer will draw conclusions and some of you people will not like those conclusions.

so why did this get the same score then the ones on the xbox/ps3? considering they say its incomplete, late, the other 2 versions arent on the console and no DLC. and still the same score as the ps3 and 360? this is nonsense

IGN said the game is more or less the same, which is why they didnt go to great lengths to do a  super review with it. The extent of the Wii U exclusive content only lasted one minute in which they showed the map on the controller and that you can control the moves from the Wii u remote (which actually makes things go along slower).
