hey I was just wondering if the points cards that worked with the wii and 3ds can also work with the wii u or will nintendo release new wii u specific points cards?

All I know is when transfering my Wii I had my points transfer into my account.

No idea if it would work on a card though.

I just checked the eshop and when clicking on Nintendo Prepaid Card they are showing images of these cards.

So these cards work with 3DS and Wii U eshops.  The Wii/DSi cards don't work with the 3DS/Wii U eshop.

They should work (kinda pointless if they didnt), but also you can redeem them on the wii eshop and transfer over if you havent converted your wii > Wii U transfer yet.

You can still buy stuff from the Wii Shop channel on your Wii U (from the Wii menu).

meh no interest in buying things from the wii shop channel....are those 3ds and wii u points cards even sold at retail yet?

Transfered to which account? Your Wii Shop account in the Wii App or your eShop account?
