I'm looking for a new anime series to watch, I haven't watched much anime I guess but I love the ones I've bought so far. Here's the ones I own: All-Ghost in the Shell Cowboy Bebop + movie Outlaw Star Planetes R.O.D Blood:the last vampire Princess Mononoke Spirited Away My neighbour Totoro I've also seen these: Trigun Heatguy J I forgot but I've also seen FLCL and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and loved both. I'm looking for good series that are similar to the ones I own, So people of VGChartz what do you recommend?

Most of the stuff you list is (or was) very popular, so you might want to check around best seller lists etc. Also lots of Miyazaki, so you'll probably enjoy the rest of his works.

Everyone loves Azumanga, so you should definitely check it out too. =P

Lodoss War is brilliant, Those Who Hunt Elves for humor and relief from the more sombre ones. Berserk is also brilliant, and Blue Gender is recommendable.
GTO (Great Teacher Onisuka) and Initial D is good for motor (and humor) fans.
Hellsing, like WoW said, is a very very good vampire anime!
Neon Genesis Evangelion is hard not to mention when good anime is brought up, and Ruroni Kenshin is also great (allthough really really really long...).
Dominion Tank Police (classic) and Apleseed are must see's.

Well, you seem to like things that have a good story and are more of the adventure genre, so I would recommend Martian Succesor Nadesico and Samurai X Trust and Betrayal. The problem with MSN is that you may find is that it is an older title so it does not look anything like anywhere nears as good as some of the other anime you have seen, and the main story is broken up by side stories. Nevertheless, it has a good story and it is very funny. For pure story and action, Samurai X is simply incredible, in fact out of the hundred plus anime series that I've seen, I consider this two OVA anime as the best I've seen.

 Nadesico is very good, I think the semi-vintage art adds charm rather than deduct it. Egg scene when the planet is attacked is among the funniest things in movies ever! "YYYYAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!! I burnt my eggs..."

Yep, that anime is one of my favorite English dubs, Spike Spencer absolutely nailed Akito.

Y'know, everyone so far has gone "well, judging by your tastes" etc.

Just cause he's enjoyed those doesn't mean he'd be opposed to something that goes a bit sillier.

I definitely recommend he get Trigun the whole way through. He might like Paranoia Agent, but I'm also going to recommend Lucky Star, Seto no Hanayome, Genshiken, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (along with season 2, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai) Howl's Moving Castle, You're Under Arrest, xxxHolic, Ranma 1/2, One Piece(Japanese audio w/ english SUBS ONLY)

 A lot of these pieces can be found at www.crunchyroll.com too so you can get a nice feel for it before making the final commitment

My brother has dominion tank police and my friend has Appleseed so I'll be able to watch them, as for the others I'll make a note of them so I dont forget. I'll try to watch the ones mentioned but it'll take me awhile :p but I dont care since I love anime =D
