The GBA game was a port of the original main difference was losing the super FX chip so the foreground/background movement suffered abit but the game itself was the exact same.

 

That pile of shite on the DS tho... yeah that was horrific, made by the company who made a GBA launch title called Pinobee... which was also complete junk, why nintendo gave them the Yoshi IP to work with I'll never know.

I didn't play that one...I've enjoyed others over the years. 

There was nothing really wrong with it. Just too easy, and very kiddie. Even more than usual. Beat it in 5 hours or less.

Well i was probably 8 yrs old when i played it and yes as a kid i loved it lol

Let's hope there is some kind of truth to this aswell as the Paper Zelda for Wii U rumor a while back

I KNEW it.

Of course this is not confirmed, but with the obsession with fruits lately in the Nintendo Direct videos and the Yoshi Fruit Cart mini-game in NintendoLand it's soooo obvious.

Would be awesome, as Yoshi's Island on SNES is one of the greatest games ever made in my opinion. Mario World pales in comparison. Yes, yes it does.
