And here's what's slated for Q1 2013:

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
God of War: Ascension
The Last of Us
Beyond: Two Souls

Much more exciting.

We all know at least 2 of those won't come out in Q1

Yes they will. Sly and God of War are slated for Q1, I believe and there are more exclusives expected for the PS3 alone than that. They never put Ninokuni on the list either, which will be huge for Japanese sales because Miazaki is making that.

I'm just pointing out that Ninokuni came out in 2011 for Japan, its just taken a long time to localise (it also flopped in Japan too >.>).

Yeah Sony really dropped the ball for exclusives this christmas, as Kowenicki said though, multiplatform games will see the system through for the most part.

Tis better to push games back and have quality than rush the games. Anyway, Sony will own 2013 amongst the great games that will already be coming out. They've put out enough exclusives this year that were mid tier even though they wanted the Last of Us to be out this 4th quarter.

Yup, agree with PakChiuCheng. Just a troll thread, Mod should lock it..

It is a troll thread, only if you feel threatened by the question.  Otherwise, you can answer and explain it.  I can understand maybe you have some insecurity and feel threatened and see "troll" but one is far more on target to call me lazy for not looking up such, as maybe I could.  But then, I would of went off and posted "Is that it?".  I had thoughts maybe God of War or Last of Us was supposed to release this Christmas season.  But, the way the thread is now, you can use it to discuss what strong exclusive Sony content is coming and Sony's approach for the holidays.  Also, you can toot a horn about a release coming up.

But, hey, just ignore all I said, think it is trolling and request the mods lock it.

What is the effect of ownage, if Microsoft releases the next XBox, and the Wii U does gangbusters in sales?  Pardon my asking here, just curious why it would matter.  Well, matters if you are a PS3 owner and want good content, which is cool.

In all honesty, neither Xbox 360 nor PS3 have had a great christmas this year. It's kinda a given for the Xbox 360 and prolly it's best yet just because Halo 4 is so damn good up there with the best of PS3 exclusives, but the PS3 usually doesn't fail to provide a top notch list of exclusives for it's christmas build up.

There's only really PSABR and I think that's going to bomb big time and it doesn't have a story...so it can never be that good.

Xbox 360 has had Halo 4, true but that's it really. Forza Horizon was nothing special to most people unless they like that type of game. The new fable is crap and that's it really unless I'm missing something.

Been pretty pants all round.

Quite looking forward to new god of war, but don't believe that will come q1 2013 if I'm honest and don't believe we'll see the last of us until october next year.

(Just my opinion for my personal taste)

Halo 4 is arguably the biggest exclusive this season, and second biggest release behind Black Ops 2.  It isn't a big season this year, with the Wii U out and likely going to steal a lot of thunder.

Sony has quite a few exclusives coming out and possibly others which means the PS3 is going out with a bang. All signs point to the Orbis being the first to launch from the dev kit movement thats been going around. Last I heard of Durango, people had been saying the dev kits got pushed back.

I think it's a bit short sighted to quote Q1 time frame for some of those games, nothing personal, it's just if you go by past experience, half will be delayed past Q1. People always seem to make this mistake of looking forward to a massive number of games that have been announced for a period but then inevitably lots of them get pushed back usually to balance the books for the next year.

Q1 -> Q2 is the worst for it because fiscal year ends in April so it's easy to push releases to the Summer, and they nearly always get pushed to september or october for sales volume reasons.

It's happened time and time again over the past 5 years.

Q1 isn't a good time to release games, Q2 is even worse matched or maybe slightly worse by first half of Q3. It's hardly realistic to expect those heavy hitters to all drop in Q1 for the PS3. I'm not saying they definitely won't but surely a die hard believer can at least entertain this point of view, a lot of money has gone into them.

If I'm smoking crack, feel free to enlighten me - I'm not trying to downplay anything here. It would be great if those exclusives listed do drop in Q1 don't get me wrong.

Aren't God of War and Gears of War launching in Q1? Anyway, Sony has exclusives coming in at other quarters as well. I can't speak for Microsoft since thats the last big game they've got in their tank.

This topic is created by a MS fan to stealth troll the PS3.

That's all.

Maybe Turkish can post "What are Microsoft's big exclusives for Q1" in 2013.

Perma-Banned for saying this. Wow VGChartz.

Yes Pak is me. So I guess I'll get perma-banned as well since I'm exposing myself as an alt-account. I'll just create another account using another IP then *shrugs*
