So, the world is supposed to end December 21st according to the mayans right?  So my question to you guys is how is it going to end?  Post your theories here about how we meet are gruesome ending, just before Christmas...

My personal theory is that Microsoft will send out their take over the world code to all the xboxs, pcs, phones, and tablets that use their software. These electronics will then transform and begin annihilating everything in sight. However, Microsoft will screw up and not be able to control it when all the electronics red ring or blue screen and just end up killing everybody instead.

That is my theory...

The world? It will be swallowed by a dying sun.

Humanity? We will overpopulate until we strip the planet of every last resource. This will lead to war and unprecedented brutality. Bodies will fill the streets and once lush forests will be cleared wastelands. All water will be polluted and disease will rage unchecked.

Still, though, a few groups will survive here and there, tucked away in inhospitable places. They'll scape by, waiting for the world to cleanse and rebuild itself. Hopefully they won't start the cycle all over again but I wouldn't hold my breath.

by december 21st?  that is some quick overpopulation and quickly dying sun!  Perhaps a human cloning facility is built and malfunctions?  creating billions of clones!  Trillions even!!!  Then we try to destroy them by sending them to the sun... but that causes the sun to meltdown... because they are clones... and the world ends!

This is very likely to happen indeed... unlike kinect selling 20 million units...

The nuclear powers gather all their might to annihilate he and his darkling hordes, blowing off a third of the planet.

Then we become Adventure Time
