looked interesting to me,didn't metacritic pan it wih a 42 as i was on there last night and had a quick look, not i care much for reviews.i'll watch any sc-fi anyway,it is sci-fi right

as far as i know most of the reviews were positive. some of the fake accents were not the greatest, which occasionally made them a little hard to understand. (i can think of a specific joke in the movie where only 2 people laughed and the rest of us [bout 30] were kinda like "what did he say")

i prefer to watch movies with subtitles anyways, which isnt an option in most theatres. when it comes out on home release i will definitely be getting it, to watch again with subtitles, but i still think it was worth seeing in the theatre. i just found it such an amazing piece. for sure made it into my top ten films.

not really i was just there looking at some PC games and had a look what new movies were out,reviews and scores don't effect on what i watch or play at all,movies have to be truly terrible but i'd still probably enjoy something in it,i love film

Rotten Tomatoes is usually a pretty good indicator for movies, I find.

I haven't seen Cloud Atlas yet, but very few theatres around where I am were intent on showing it. It's pretty sad that it's not doing well at all. It's currently sitting at around $24m worldwide on a budget rumoured to be around $100m. I've heard the visuals are pretty amazing, but that the story isn't one that everyone is going to get (aka. the average movie goer). I'd see it if I could though.

Cloud Atlas, Life of Pi and the Hobbit are on my cinema must-watch-list right now.
