Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 3DS Gaming on the Cheap

First of all, I think VVVVVV is an awesome game, but you should not list it in a budget thread. It's heavily overpriced for the 2 hours it lasts, imho. I still love the game and have it on my 3DS and it looks and plays awesome, but I still think this game should be 5 bucks max.

The main game is only two to three hours, but the additional 18 levels (two of which are longer than the main game: I actually like 333333 better than the main game too) dramatically boost playtime. I'd say you can get an easy 15-20 hours out of it.

P.S. F*** The Tower of Power.

Since Resident Evil The Mercenaries only has one save slot I wouldn't consider it a good used game bargain unless you buy it from someone that barely played the game.

You can just delete the content and start fresh, no?

No, the game lacks the ability to reset data. There was quite the shitstorm when that factoid was leaked.

Oh, Crapcom...

There is a really good deal on Amazon!

Get Steel Diver, Nintendogs + Cats" Toy Poodle and New Friends, and Nintendogs + Cats: French Bulldog and New Friends for $25.00

Here is the link:http://www.amazon.com/Steel-Diver-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B002I08VXI/ref=pd_sim_vg_5

I decided to bite, I never tried Nintendogs or Steel Diver before and I can't say no to three brand new 3DS games for $25.

Like Sethnintendo said, Amazon has a bunch of discounted prices on 3DS games.

I'm currently in the process of creating a list of all the 3DS deals and bargains. Once I finish it I'll post it here for you Salnax.

Its still a decent bargain new since you can get it new for $18.76 on amazon but for a little more then a buck more you can also get RE: Revelations which is a much better game.

resident evil:revlations is a bargain at that price.

I made this thread on a whim. Seeing all the advice I'm getting, I'm going to turn this into something proper. Later. First, I have a midterm to take.

I would definitely second Walkthrublazer's recommendation to pick up Steel Diver. At the price that you can buy it, it is well worth it.

I'm going to be making a chart of recommended games, their Metascores, prices at Gamestop, and price on Amazon. Stay tuned!
