Clue for #30: THREE alarms? Global security or not, you are getting the HELL out of there.

The second game in a series, and far from the last.

31th hint:
- A good chunk of the content involves mini-games within the main game. (Not a party game!)

Is it a FF game?

No, but I will be posting the answer within an hour.

I can give another hint:

- The protagonists are animals.

Clue for 31: Boom 2^6

Bomberman 64?

Heh, an easy one, i suppose.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

31. Bomberman 64, N64 (1997) Hudson (last year 30)

This game had the tendency to be frustratingly obtuse. For a game in the 3D era, death came easily and in many forms, and the game did not make what you had to do at all obvious. That being said, it was a distinct take on previous Bomberman games in both adventure and multiplayer, making for a fun and unique game. Nostalgia helps make it one of those games that looms large in my imagination, so it gets a relatively high rank.

Clue for 30: This top-selling game helped sell a peripheral that was only an aesthetic improvement to its controller, providing no new functionality.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

33. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

One of my favorite SRPGS. I never played the original Tactics, but I loved almost everything about this game. The job system was great and there was an amazing wealth of missions, I also liked the story, it was really nice, although it could have been more complex.

32. The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth

For me, this game is all about the campaign. The normal matches were cool, but a lot worse than in its successor. The campaigns, however, are just pure genius. Conquering middle-earth province by province, creating an elite army on this way... A pity they have not followed on this series.

My next game is  from one of gaming's most famous franchises, and it has double the amount of something than the rest of this series.

Animal Crossing?

My #31, as guessed by AlphaCielago, is Metroid: Zero Mission.

The Game Boy Advance made a living off its enhanced remakes and ports, from Super Mario Advance to Final Fantasy VI Advance. Its best, however, is Metroid: Zero Mission, a retelling of the events of the first Metroid game. As in the original, Zero Mission takes place on Zebes, where Samus has tracked the Space Pirates, scourge of the galaxy and abductors of Metroids, highly dangerous parasitic life forms. Because of its familiar storyline and geography, Zero Mission is a treat for fans familiar with the Metroid mythology who wish to relive one of the most important games on the NES; it’s similarly a perfect starting point for those new to the franchise. Although Zero Mission closely follows the chronology of the original, it does not quite finish where Metroid ended...

No, you are a generation too late.

31th -

Donkey Kong 64 gets the spot for 31th. I'll start with the bad stuff and that is the shitty mini-games that the game has to offer to get those annoyin golden bananas (at least a good chunk of them). Some of them are easy and others are ridicolous. I also thought that the Final Boss was alot of bullshit, but that is another story.

Putting aside those major complaints of mine, the game offers rich content that lasted me a long time. It was an quite entertaining game. I finished it for the first time this year, 101% and it was not an easy feet for me. The may have had its frustrating parts, but the amount of good content overwhelms that. I liked that you could play as 5 differeny kongs, the collecting of the bananas was also fun. The same thing goes for some other bosses (especially cardboard K.Rool).

I hope that in the future we will at least see another DK game in 3D, without the mini-games.
