Shitstorm incoming...........

Why? What am I missing?

we had a 300+ posts thread about wifi and the option to buy a 15 bucks ethernet dongle... so I expect at least 400 posts of not able to use a 32gb sd card to save your downloaded content..

Don't get your hopes up. That thread is made possible through a special and potent combination of misplaced elitism, deliberate ignorance, and their titanic clash with cold reality.  This cocktail you've got here has nothing on it.

Waaait a second, that means if my Wii U explodes all my eShop games are gone because i can't use my HDD on another Wii U? If yes, that's a deal-breaker to me.

I imagine the games you buy from the eshop will be stored in your Nintendo Network account, so if your Wii U breaks you just have to download the games again.

this. +1 Osed

34 years playing games.

OMG Nintendo. This is ridiculous! Do you expect me to store all my games on a tiny 32GB drive instead of my external 3TB SD card?!

Something to do with transfer speeds on SD cards maybe? Software on SD cards on Wii were a bit slow to boot up, and they were small.

Put your SD card into your SDcard USB adapter plug it into the WiiU TADAAA Saved on a SD card.

Btw whats the problem? I will use this:

Super small and black like my WiiU will be. It has 32gb and just cost me 12 euros half a year ago.

^ this...

maybe they "want" a proprietary card... because they are used to it... ehem sony

So why is there even an SD card slot? What else is there to store besides software downloads?

Probably reserved for pron.
