Anyways have fun with it. This game has always been on my rador too. I suppose I'll pick up this game eventually. i just wish it had trophies though.

I got it pretty cheap a long time ago. Years, actually. I only bought it for the hot female lead but it was a decent game. I wasn't a fan of the gameplay but the graphics were nice. I got bored with it around the the time you had to fight Flying Fox or that snake chick. I can't remember. Later on, I went back and beat it just to say that I did but I never felt like it was a must-play title. Had high hopes for it but it never lived up to them. Maybe if I had gotten it at around launch.

THANKS a lot for your thoughts. I actually redownloaded the demo and gave it a go. Initial impression was holy fuck that screen tearing and.. frames xD, well.. basically the 2007 / early ps3 game effect xD. But after the first encounter, I really had fun. Looking forward of playing the full game :)

Im down for that as well.

I only played the demo, and the one thing I remember about it is that it was made during the "everything needs sixaxis support" era. So I didn't really enjoy the sixaxis motion controls but besides that it was...adequate I guess would be the word.

gameplay was meh but the characters are great and it has the best voice acting of any videogame to date

Couldn't disagree more. While God of War was objectively a better made game, it certainly wasn't some super high standard to go for. If anything, it was far more of the same.

I'd rate it a 10/10 though :L, thats a pretty high standard to reach. So high that I am scared of Ascension having a lot to live up to lol

Guess I'm just cynical. I don't remember thinking of it any more than a well made game with a gigantic budget.
