Bay’s official comment on Wahlberg’s casting follows, promising ambitious things for the future of the brand:
“Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on ‘Pain and Gain’ and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the ‘Transformers’ legacy.”

yay... =/
I never quite liked the direction Bay took Transformers, so I don't really care if Mark is in the 4th installment. What matters is the bots!!! Prime is a certainty - but who else is there now?! All Decepticons are gone - and that sucks major ass!!

wait... I thought the next TF would be a reboot under new direction? hmmm while I don't mind part of Bay's TF layout (bot's look/feel)... the stories have been really mediocre and that has a lot to do with Bay's 'vision'.
Will need to read more on this.

He better replace Shia because him and Megan were the worst arts of the movie

This is a good choice. Wahlberg's acting will bring a whole new level of "robotic" to the series.
