Just wondering, if someone who owns the game could check quickly if the game shows you that info like the previous ones did. Also if anyone checked, how many concurrent users were on at launch. Just interested to see actual data on how well halo is doing.

According to what my screen is showing only 377,000 people are playing but I'm not sure if they show global numbers or just different servers. If 377,000 is global then that is a rather small number of people playing out of the 3.1 million day one sales.

According to my carefully compiled calculations, a huge fucking lot of people are currently playing Halo 4.

Seriously though, I wouldn't trust these in-game numbers. They never include those who play campaign, custom games, forge or Spartan Ops. Only those playing matchmaking are tracked, so a lot more people are actually playing than it seems.

Online says 350,000. However, that doesn't count Sp Ops and Campaign. I would say around 900k - 1.3 million.

I'm betting OP wants to compare it to maybe Modern Warfare 3 or the upcoming Black Ops 2.

I can say that Modern Warfare 3 posted much higher numbers on launch week.(on PS3).Can't remember the exact number but it was definitely upwards of 600k. I would imagine it approach the million mark on 360.

Apples to oranges, as we don't know how the different games track users globally, across different game modes, what time of day, etc.

Servers are playing up for some and lot of the major retailers still havent delivered the game, so its best to wait till weekend to get an more accurate number.

Maybe the OP wanted  to compare Halo 4 numbers to Halo Reach.

Highest I've seen it is 370k for the MP modes. Pretty disappointing for day two peak hours though. I'm pretty sure MW3 on the 360 is close if not slightly ahead of Halo 4.
