I am a Nintendo guy, and I don't recognize half the roster, but I am actually excited to play this.  It looks stupid, just like Smash Bros., and that is why it will be fun.  The key idea in Smash Bros. that sold me was being able to fight Donkey Kong with Pikachu, that was just hilarious to me.  Picked it up at Stop N Save Software (Now Gamestop, sorry for being old), put about 3000 hours into it, and never looked back.  It was a purely fun game.  

This is what this is, is it biting Ninty's style?  Sure, should anyone care?  Yes, Sony fans should care, because Smash is an awesome and anything that resembles that on a Sony console is going to be awesome for them (even that TMNT game was fun).  For the Nintendo fans, let it go, who cares, its not like this game is going to crush Smash Bros., there will be a new one in the next few years and it will be just as amazing as always, have no fear.  Let the Sony fans have their cake too, we've been spoiled by 3 great games of this style, there is room for another in the market.

To be fair, with LBP, you can probably get character costumes for well over half of the characters in PSAS :P


I know of all the characters in PSAS, but I don't know Dante, Spike, Toro and the Tekken guy that well tbh. Some characters in SSBB I haven't heard of either, but that's mostly because those games don't get localised in Europe.

I still do not know a lot of the characters on smash Bros because I do not like that style of game, at all.

recognition doesnt matter when you know the cast atleast looks awesome. the same cant be said for brawl...

lol and who are you to define who is a "real gamer" and not? i been playing games since the nses era, just because i know three virtually unknown chareters from 15 years ago doenst mean im not a "gamer". i seen gameplay of prapa and i can honestly say the game is shit, no wonder i didnt play it, i was to busy with crash bandicoot, mario 64, banjoo kazooie and much more high quality games at the time other than prappa the rappa. as for fat princess, its just a downloadable a game, so according to your logic if i dont play every downloadable game im not a real gamer, so most probably nobody on this forum is a "real gamer" according to your stupid standard. and at the time i had the ps1 i was a kid, so medievil isnt the kind of game i would have wanted to play. so not playing a game that isnt targeted at my demographic means im not a gamer? in your post your clearly just showing off, it filled with arrogance and ignorance. pathetic
