I have been hoping it would be either this guy OR Demo-TRex as the final boss. I'm glad SuperBot chose one of them.

It's kinda epic that they went as far back to 1995 and brought back Polygon Man (You are not red-e) but, I've often used him as an example of why Sony's ads sucked. He wasn't that bad but I always thought he was somebody they wanted to ignore. That's why they went with Sofia from Toshinden instead of him after a pretty short amount of time.

*edit* looking at the post above mine, maybe that was good advertising and my opinion just sucks.

if sony advertise the game with trailers with this quality, this might sell like hot cakes!

Phil Harrison, head of Sony's European game publishing business, recollected the reaction of Ken Kutaragi, global head of the PlayStation brand, when Kutaragi saw the Polygon Man for the first time.

“I remember walking onto the E3 booth in 1995 with Ken and seeing the Polygon Man design on the side of the booth. Ken just went absolutely insane,” says Harrison. Kutaragi was upset that SCEA was spending its limited budget on an alternative brand. “But the thing that really upset Ken was that the Polygon Man design wasn’t Gouraud shaded, it was flat shaded! So Polygon Man was taken out into the car park and quietly shot.”

I love the Drakes falling through a floor attack....hilarious..yet true!

I think 1vs1 and 2vs2 will be the most intense

The beta pleasantly surprised me, it was fantastic. This into is absolutely great, what I've heard of the soundtrack so far is great too.
