There were huge supply constraints on the iPad mini too; it was sold out basically everywhere. Android simply can't compete with Apple in the tablet market. Time will tell if MS can...

that is very very true, i cant understand why though

It's probably because the Android OS is even more horrendous on tablets than it is on phones.

That^^
On phone is not that bad, still not as good as iOS or Windows Phone 7.5 but still not bad. On the other hand, on a tablet Android is a mess. Yes you can customize a lot more than the 2 others but it is at the expense of degrading the overall user experience and making a lot of apps (at least the one I want to use) not compatible with this resolution, or this tablet,etc...
I'm not even looking at the hardware specs for any tablet anymore as soon as I see that it is running Android.

More lies. Android 4.1 and soon 4.2 are a step above ios, and reviews all agree on that. I am thinking many of you tried android once and a low budget tablet with an older android version and assume all android devices were like it? NExus 7 is certainly nothing like you describe.

Well it is all subjective and a matter of oppinions. Insulting people of liars just because they do not agree with you will not change anything.
Please stay polite while trying to push your oppinion. I (and certainly others if you look at the thread), simply do not agree with you.
I do have a Nexus 7 (got it as a gift) and yes, it is like I describe it (in my eyes). It is okay for my kids to watch Netflix but not for me and from this price point I'm not saying it should as good as an iPad or a Surfacebut i feel like it is simply not the same quality as an OS and even as a device in the case of the Nexus 7.
Sorry if you disagree but you will not change my personnal oppinion.
