iPad mini has sold more in its first 3 days than the highest selling Android tablet (Nexus 7) has sold in the past month.
The mini sold 1 million in its first 3 days, and google have recently announced that they are now shipping 1 million Nexus 7's per month. This means that the iPad mini has sold more in 3 days than the Nexus 7 has in the past 1 1/2 months probably (because they won't have sold all the units they've shipped).
There were huge supply constraints on the iPad mini too; it was sold out basically everywhere. Android simply can't compete with Apple in the tablet market. Time will tell if MS can...

It's probably because the Android OS is even more horrendous on tablets than it is on phones.

The ipad if for people who got bored playing with their wii's. There are a hell of a lot of wii owners out there, so I guess when they all own an ipad, the world will be sane again.

I know you're trollin' and all, but iPad sales already exceed Wii sales, so find some new bait.

Good to know that the ipad mini 2 will enter mass production with 2048 x 1536 resolution 7.9-inch displays (497 ppi) in mid 2013. They will use Sharps IGZO technology to save battery life. (its so useless to buy apple products if they make you feel like you own old hardware 1 year later/6 months later since the Ipad mini and Ipad will release 6 months apart from each other from now on...) But whatever...

It's not Apples fault that consumers feel the need to buy new hardware upgrades every year. Besides, there are new Android devices released every week, so Android devices get older much quicker than Apple ones do
