MW3`s second week,Black Ops second week and last but not least Halo Reach`s second week in the US and all of course on the 360, but yeah i know thats a quite optimistic attitude.

What FPS games are you using for that formula? Don't tell me it's CoD...please

CoD is one of the games I used in the formula, yes. Why does that matter?

And BF3?

It does matter because CoD does not follow the same pattern as Halo.

They're both FPS's on the 360 and they're both released at the exact same time of year. Very similar if you ask me. CoD has higher sales, but that doesn't matter because I've used it's percentage changes, not its actual sales figures.

Okay...Halo still doesn't have the same legs (even in percentages) as CoD. You'll see. That is why I'm saying 7m, 7.5m at the absolute most. Your last two weeks especially are probably too high.

That's because all other huge halo games have been released in September, and all other CoDs have been released in November. You can't use past Halo % changes to determine Halo 4's percentage changes; they're released in totally different sales climates.

@bolded, week 8 may be slightly too high (~40k) and week 9 may be about 20-30k off, but there are other weeks that may be off by ~30k too so it balances out

Oh well. We'll see soon enough. Halo is now directly competing with CoD while all other times it has been in free territory. Don't forget that.

Lol Halo 4 is not going to sell 6 million in it's opening week. I would be shocked if it even broke 2 million. I think 7-8 million may be a solid lifetime sales figure. Check back in 2014.

Post of the year material right there.

Halo Reach only sold 7.1m in its first year AND it had nearly double the time that Halo 4 will have. With that said, I predict Halo 4 will do a bit less than Halo Reach (7.1m) in its first year. So between 6.3-6.8M
