Sandy hit me but not hard. I never lost power. I don't really think I have a right to call myself a "survivor."

Lol where I live most of the telephone lines were down and there was no service on my phones and/or computers. 

We barely got anything from Sandy here on the NC coast. We know a good deal about hurricanes, though, so you have my sympathy. Some of my friends and relatives were without power for close to two weeks after hurricane Floyd. Even though I live 10 minutes away, I got it back after two days, thanks to being with a much smaller co-op power company. I still tease them about that.

Thanks meng! I know it's been like a week since the hurricane, but believe it or not guys shiz still is BUNS! Gas shortages, people still without power, and I had a whole week off of school of which tomorrow I would normally have 4 classes instead I'm only having one of which is on a different campus >.>

Off topic, but here is a complementary item for everyone before I hit le sack.

I lost power for about 6 seconds. It was a rough 6 seconds.

It's been a week and my place still lacks power.
