burn less electricity? Wii is the most energy saving console. I think around 18 watts idle vs something around 180 for the 360 and PS3 idle so Wii is energy saving

Sorry, pal. The Wii will win in the sense that it will sell the most hardware, but the 360 and PS3 will sell WAY more software unless the Wii can come up with some good games. (ten bucks says someone will say "Super Mario Galaxy and/or SSBB and/or MK is/are a good game/games". Please. Don't make me laugh. Just give me Halo 3 and/or Warhawk)

I have had my PS3 since last January, and my Wii since July or August. I have 5 games for my PS3 and I downloaded a game from the PSN. I still just have Wiisports for my Wii. The thing is, games for the PS3 generally cost $60 and Wii games cost $50, which isn't that big of a difference, and I will not spend my hard-earned money on a game that I will play for three days, then toss aside and go back to my PS3. I expect that 360 fans feel the same.

Nintendo made a gamble: in appealing to a casual audience, they sell huge amounts of hardware and little software. My dad is the only one in my house who uses the Wii, and he will be happy with Wii bowling forever. I got bored with it after a week and a half.

Also, any REAL hardcore fan would be driven away from the Wii's impressive line-up of exclusive titles - all made-to-order for 8-year-olds. For the REAL next-gen experience, PS3 is the way to go. The 360 IS a next-gen, but not as good as the PS3. The PS2, (derisive laugh) which is seven YEARS old, gives the Wii a run for it's money....

Nintendo could care less about GTAIV, GoWIII, MGS4, GT5, etc..... Those games all have TERRIBLE attach rates vs GC games like Melee, MKDD, SM Sunshine, etc. Because of these attach rates and an already larger user base, the Wii will be KING of BOTH SW and HW!!!!!!!

Of course SMG has a better attach rate than PS3 or 360 games. SMG is the only Wii game that is close to being close to being good. If good games are bright lights and bad ones are pure darkness, then the 360 and PS3 are NYC and Hong Kong, respectively. i.e. not much difference. For Ninty, SMG is the only four-watt nightlight in Mammoth Cave.
