Hot damn!  That is the same exact thing I have been saying.  Why petition for games, when there are many good games to be had on the system, why you (Not you, but the Wii owners) have purchased it.  If it didn't have games you wanted on there, why buy it?

Again, hot damn!  Why do you see no petitions for games to come to the PS360?  Because, we are content with our games.  We bought our systems because of the games, not blind fan loyalty.  And this goes right back to my first point, if you bought the Wii, not because of you were a fan, but because of the "AAA" quality titles on there, why aren't you playing them?

I really doubt that Resident Evil 5 will be capable on Wii, so Capcom simply won't respond because that may be their stance. Come on, guys, is it really that bad?

lol....i don't play ps3 that much, i only have genji and rented call of duty4, but i see not good enough ps3 games to buy.... : (

but on wii, i have mp3, zelda and smg, where super mario galaxy is the best game i have ever played, i don't say 3rd party games are bad, but nintedo games make wii so popular.....

also, pes 2008 on wii seems to be cool, same with No More Heroes, My Sims and RE UC selling well.... 

We're happy with the games we have, and are playing them all the time, but obviously wouldn't mind more. Since when has wanting the best third party titles to appear on one's console a sign of having bought a console out of blind fan loyalty? Owners of all three consoles are doing it all the time, but you seem to insist on insulting all Wii owners everywhere with pretty much nothing to back it up.

When there's a huge disparity between sales and third party support, like the record breaking Wii having less quality support than the far less succesful PS3, it's only to be expected that the consumers are demanding the industry reconsiders where their games are going. I wasn't following console news when RE4 was announced as a Gamecube exclusive, but you can bet there were hordes of angry Sony fans complaining about it all the time. They got a port with slightly inferior graphics and some added content later, so clearly Capcom listens to what the fans are saying.

 Maybe they have already played them? And maybe they just want a RE5 game, and the price of Xbox360 or PS3 do not justify for one single game?

If you made a decision based off of games, then no one would have picked the Wii this year, the obvious choice would have been the XBOX 360.  You couldn't have made the choice based off of games, because you bought a Wii, which didn't have many games come out this year.  I don't insult Wii owners everywhere.  Everytime I'm insulting a Wii owner, it's in a thread for a petition.  That is my sticking point, and my pet peeve. 

Your second point about third-party support and the "record-breaking Wii sales" goes back to the same argument this site has been having.  The games on the Wii that are the highest selling, are decidedly casual and simple (i.e.:  Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, Carnival Games, Rayman Raving Rabbids, etc.), and when the hardcore games come out on the system they don't really sell (i.e.:  All other third-party games).  But I'm not going to get back into the same argument again.  When RE4 was annoucned on the Gamecube, I didn't care, because I had tons of PS2 games to play, because I bought my PS2 based off of the fact that it had the most games I wanted to play on there, not because I had a PS1.  And since RE4 came to the PS2 a year later, and you believe it will happen again, just wait until a year goes by, and maybe by then they'll announce a Wii-make.

If they've already played all the games to be played on the Wii, then I'd be seriously worried about an investment in that system, that so close after the holiday season, there are no games that I still want to play on it.  And if the price of an XBOX 360 or PS3 does not justify the RE5, then why go through great lenghts and make petitions and threads about it, it can't be that important to you.

I still don't understand why people are so against these petitions to get games for another console. I mean it doesn't hurt anybody else. They'll still get it for PS360. It's not like they are asking to take it away from the other consoles. I don't see why people would be against it. I've signed every petition that has asked to put a game on a system. Why? Cause in the end its not hurting anyone.

Nothing against the petition, it's something against seeing it across every thread in the hot topics section, or not being able to talk about a game without hearing it'd be better on the Wii or something to that extent. And there's so many of them.

Doesn't bother me.  If people want to make threads about every possible game coming to the Wii fine.  They want to make petitions, sure I'll sign them as well.  

But I guess I could see where some would see this as spam.  Possibly an official thread is in need.
