Yep. Buying a vita just for this.
Gotta love the music!

Soundtrack was already amazing in the original. Now they have added a bunch of new songs to make it even better. I have grown to love "Time to Change History" theme in the intro. I think they actually allow you to listen to the entire soundtrack via the main menu. Also glad to hear this game is why you are getting a Vita. You just can't be dissappointed with Persona 4, it is too amazing!

Ya, I think I am one of the few who actually enjoyed Persona 3 more than 4, hell I even liked the Music better.

Thanks to the heads up on the new tunes tho....I might just have to change my mind.  Really good stuff.  Been listening to them since I read ya post.

Im a Huge Atlus FAN and I am hoping this will lead to more Atlus re-releases on the Vita (DDS/Nocturne Anyone?)

I liked P3's soundtrack just a smidgeon mor than P4s. "Burn My Dread", especially in the final battle just got my blood pumping. I think I like the overall soundtrack better in P4 tho. Rivieri is eerily calming....and sad, Sauna and Striptease dungeon themes....love it, Mist is good, gotta love Reach out to the Truth, and also falling in love with "Time to Make History", and the best song to envoke the feeling of friendship...."SMILE".

The way I see them as far as quality...

P3: I am drawn more maybe to the dark meloncholia vibe, love the evokers, great start, mediocre middle, but that ending....so Amazing!

P4: From start to finish it had my full attention. The metaphors of the story's theme are echoed throughout the game. Strong cast where I didn't feel any of them were filler or just plain didn't belong (cough*Fukka and Aegis*cough). They fixed almost everything that bugged me from P3 such as controlling party members. I just think it was a more consistant package by game's end. Never got bored of what was going on.

I will say....the Sun(or was it Star?) social link in P3, the one with the older sick kid in the park, made me cry :(.

I think Atlus would prefer if they could purely release Persona series on portables. We have already seen many JRPG franchises jumped on that ship entirely. It just proves more lucrative to them because they don't have to compete with strong Western technology in graphics. I am all for more remakes/remasters yet I would rather see some new stuff. P5, naturally is long over due. I never played the DDSaga games or Nocturne, heard how great they were. Maybe they could experiment with making original SMT/Persona content on the PSVita. P4 was made in less than a year so they could probably put out some cool stuff if they reuse same assets from P4G. I would be ok with that :)

Also, not surprising at all that Chie is winning. I think its the turtle neck jacket and the fact she can galactic punt you into outer space lol. It is very apparent across the internet that she is many's favorite. Yosuke and Noato are close 2nds and 3rds. They all pail in comparison to the Swag Monster that is Yu!

They did this with:

On the PSP.  Very doubtful they will do it again for Vita (though they do work and are DEFINITELY worth picking up).

DDSaga and Nocturne would be great on a Handheld, and I cannot think of a better place than here.

I liked the Characters in Persona 4 more than 3 (Individually and as a Cohesive group).  The story around the main character though...goes to P3.  How everything in the story with Nixx, with Death, with his Persona Orpheus and with Aigis, is just awesome.

I meant something original and not a remake. Maybe release a spin-off of Persona(which I realize would be a spin of a spin off lol) tailor made with Vita in mind, similar to the how they made the other games portable.

If it were simply about the gravity of the main storyline, it would be P3 hands down. It had the far more serious tone, yet I still feel most of the game was uncoordinated(similar feeling I got after playing P1 and 2). I love the idea of Nix/Orpheus/Death/Thanatos/etc. I just think it seems moot when you realize how in love you are with your friends in P4 and how you would be willing to do anything to save them.Plus the psychology behind P4's concept is amazing. How humans seek but rarely want to grasp the "Truth". The reality of it proves to be too much for most and we rather live in blissful ignorance. The metaphors of this I think suited the game well (fog, glasses, TV channels of characters)

Wow, I definitely went with the other meaning of Original.  Damn homonyms!

New SMT/Persona/Spin-Offs of a Spin-Off of a Spin-Off would work too!  The more Atlus games we can get, the better.
