having at least one of them adds +4 gold to every minion kill. And having both adds 10% damage (as well as denying the gold bonus to the enemy) ... so yeah, important.

Technically, there are two "jungle" paths, but the upper one only contains the spider. It might be better said that there is only one area on each side for jungling, and since it happens to be between the two lanes, it's more convenient for junglers. Add the fact that you can't buy wards, and ... !

I had a ridiculous match. I will have to describe it latter.

I played a game with a friend and my brother. I had played quite a few bot matches, but they were both new to the new Twisted Treeline. This was all our first match against real people. I played Teemo as I usually do, and we also had Darius(friend) and Singed(brother). The other team was Diana, Fiora, and Maokai. We went with Singed at top, and they went with Diana. 2 vs 2 at the bottom.

They kicked our asses in the early game. Darius and I died left and right. 0-8 at one point. They were also a very coordinated team. Needless to say, they controlled the alters too. They took our bottom turret, and I guess they decided to toy with us at that point. They seemed to lose their coordinated attacks, and we fought back to around 9-18. We also were able to take their bottom turret and gain pretty consistent control of the alters.

From there, it was pretty cat and mouse. A skirmish here and there, but very few 3v3 team fights. The game dragged on a long time. We were able to take Vilemaw twice since it seemed like they were not paying attention to it. We all hit 18. Throughout all of this we are constantly down around 10 kills or so. My brother as Singed is really the only one doing well. Darius and I were pretty negative. With Singed in the fight, we did well. If he wasn't there, we were in trouble. He was just doing a crazy amount of damage per second with his poison.

Singed got caught alone in the jungle by all three of the opponents on the other team. He died, but he was able to do quite a bit of damage to all three with his poison. Over Skype, I declared "Game over" because of the long death timer at this point. They all came for our inhibitor turret at bottom. Darius and I defended as best we could, killing Fiora. We both died, and two remaining took down the turret. They were at low health though. They move to take out the Nexus turret. But wait! Singed is coming back! The Nexus turret falls. They start attacking the Nexus. He runs down as fast as possible, and Flings away Diana. The Fling kills her! Maokai falls to the poison! Ace!

Darius and I come back to life. We have about 30 or 25 seconds until Fiora comes back to life. Since we have the one tower down at bottom, we push there. Singed drops poison the whole way to clear the wave to protect our Nexus. He tanks the inhibitor turret and I mow it down with the crazy attack speed I have by this point in the game. We take the inhibitor. We take the Nexus turret. At this point Fiora is back. But she is alone, and can't do anything against the three of us at nearly full health. She takes a lot of damage and has to back of. We destroy the Nexus! Victory!

At the end of the game we were still down in kills about 25-35. And this was a loooong game. I thought they were supposed to be shorter than 5v5 games, but this ended up about 55 minutes.

I do like the new map it does seem to be more full on fighting almost the whole time, But I do agree that the games are longer than they were before,when the teams are about equal in skill. That being said though I do like that games that go for around 30-40 mins because you get finish your build which is just so fun.

Daruis and Jax, are the main people that are annoying to play against in that map. They seem overpowered, almost anybody else you come you against i stand my ground most on the way. I normally play Teemo or Twitch. But I've now started playing Trundle because hes such a fun person to play and turns the battlefield into is own which is mad as.

What a story! Singed was really the perfect champ for that counterpush because only he can just run all the way down the lane pooping on waves the whole time. It does sound like they were dragging it out, or at the very least got sloppy. I've definitely seen people dragging out a game they think is in the bag though.

It seems to me that the turrets seem to die very fast in the new TT. Aces can end games much more easily than in Rift. Add to that the 10% damage boost map (altar) control gives you, and of course Vilemaw's buff, and it's a bit stacked against base defenders, but not overly so.

I've seen an ace lead to a lane with no towers down get pushed all the way to the nexus turret getting destroyed. That seems a bit silly. I kind of wish there was a timer where, after an inhibitor is destroyed for the first time, the nexus turret is invulnerable for a short time. Like 20-30 seconds. Just the first time.

I am just hoping that most normal games do not last that long. Even as bad as we were doing, I still finished my build.
