Around the Network

Wow, even though it's not very famous, Jam With the band sold 500k+ in japan alone.

This number won't be repeated with the sequel, but it's a new good selling game for the 3DS

Jam with the Band is a good game and at least we got more MH3U footage.

There are lots of scenes that will appeal to fans of both series. Conversations natural. New gameplay: new logic dealing with a world in which magic is used. Party examination. 21:03 Game Center CX video now. Iwata shows up and meets Arino. Arino is the "kacho," sub-manager. Iwata is the "shacho," company president. Iwata tells of how he worked at small dev. HAL and asked Nintendo to work on Famicom. Iwata imagines someone who introduces games would actually be good at them. What happened? Arino started with Takeshi no Chousenjou, a famous bad game on Famicom. Ninja Gaiden is very hard. Making a game means long nights, you get good at them. Arino is sometimes identified in public, but tension really increases when called "Kacho." Iwata originally programmed games on number-only calculators. It got more fun from there. He studied programming in college just as PCs and the Famicom were emerging. Iwata doesn't have time to make games, but would if he did. Now he'd just get in the way. Iwata worked on Balloon Fight. Now playing Balloon Trip mode competitively. The fish is always moving along the bottom of the screen, and might eat you if close. Collect 20 balloons in a row to turn them all orange. Iwata plays Balloon Fight sometimes. You might get lucky along the bottom of the screen, but might feel hunted if eaten.
21:18 That's it! The presentation is now over.

Dat Japanese holiday lineup! Layton Vs. Ace Attorney... *drools*

Damn Kotaku posted a BS title for an app coming to 3DS. They named it "Nintendo Just Unveiled Its Own iTunes"

It's Recochoku, a music streaming service. Not Nintendo's own service. Damn crappy journalism.
