Hello all, and welcome to the Wii U Launch Guide! In less that one month for those in North America (and a little more than one month for those in Europe), Nintendo's brand new console, Wii U, will usher in the next generation of home consoles. Excitement is in the air, as we count down the days until the day arrives where we can play our brand new Nintendo system with brand new Nintendo (and 3rd party!) games.

So, to start up the hype train once more, this thread will showcase what goodies will be showered upon us once November 18th (and November 30th) rolls around. Not only that, I think it will be fun to see what games (and the type of console) that you folks will be getting day one! It'll be interesting to see what games excite Day One Wii U purchasers the most around here on the 'Chartz!

I shall be purchasing the... Wii U Deluxe Set.

As for the games, here's what I'll be playing day one!

• Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition (I loved *loved* this game. So much so, I'll buy it twice. Can't wait to play such an outstanding game with some neat tweaks!)
• Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two (I'm a huge *huge* fan of the original game, so of course I'm super excited for the sequel. The fact that it made it to the Wii U is such a plesant surprise.)
• Little Inferno (I loved World of Goo, and I'm very much intrigued by this game as well. It looks so unique and fun!)
• New Super Mario Bros. U (It's a brand new 2D Mario game with major influences from Super Mario World. It's going to be amazing.)
• Nintendo Land (Pack in with the Deluxe Set, but it would have been a title I wanted anyways)
• Scribblenauts Unlimited (I'm a huge fan of the franchise, and this is looking to be the best installment yet. The added Nintendo characters are icing on the rich chocolate monster gummy zombie gentlemanly cake.)
• Trine 2: Director's Cut (The game looks beautiful, I'm a big fan of the setting, and more action-platforming goodness is never a bad thing.)
• ZombiU (The more I hear about this game, the more I want to play it. It just sounds like such a refreshing experience.)

I'm buying Deluxe Set which includes Nintendoland :) The games I am buying day 1 include New Super Mario Bros U, Assassin's Creed 3, and most likely Black Ops 2. Got 4 games on day 1, should be okay till the end of the year. Alot of replay value with Nintendoland and NSMBU. I will also get Pikmin 3 whenever it is releasing in the launch window.

I don't know if I will get one at launch. If I do it, it will be a deluxe with NSMB U. I may just get a 3ds xl but I want a Fire Emblem release date, gba titles on the eshop, and a decent bundle with 3d land, Mariokart 7, NSMB2, or some other solid title first.

I have the Deluxe set pre-ordered but I've yet to decide what other game(s) to get at launch.

Ah, very clever, a bait and switch. I expect a new title by morning.
