Sony/PS3

Don’t forget it was Sony at the Toyko Game Show 2012 that announced the first holiday bundle along with a new PS3 redesign.  The bundle includes a 250 gig HDD, Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception along with a $30 dollar voucher for Dust 514 digital content and a 30-day Playstation Plus free trial.  While not the most appealing of the bunch the bundle comes in at 269.99 which for a new PS3 owner is a steal compared to the PS3 stand alone consoles.  Of course there is always the Assassins Creed 3 Bundle coming out on Octobter 30th.

Microsoft/Xbox 360

Microsoft was quick to react to Nintendo’s strategy today as they have announced a price drop of $50 dollars for their console.  In addition to the price drop the green machine has announced 2 new bundles made for the Holiday Season much like last year.  The one pictured above is priced at $249.99 dollars which reflects the price cut from 299.99.  It includes a 250 gig HDD, Forza Motorsports 4, a redeemable code for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, 1 month of Xbox Live, Hulu Plus and Epix.  New adopters of the console will be happy to know they now can purchase this at their local retail store!

Nintendo/Wii

Nintendo like its next-gen console has struck first in the strategic price cuts.  The Nintendo Wii, which came out 6 years ago this November will see a price cut of $20 dollars in the US.  Bringing the price down from 149.99 to the more approachable 129.99. The new bundle comes complete with 2 games which include: Wii Sports, as well as the Wii Sports Resort title.  Along with 1 Wii Mote with a very sexy black finish to go along with its console counterpart.

Man, that's embarrassing for the poor Wii.

Xbox360 w/o a doubt.
Forza4/skyrim ­> UC3/Dust.

And finaly the xbox bundle is cheaper.

Wii's is by far the worst... Wii sport and Wii Sport resort =/= 2games! They are the same thing except that a Wii Sport Resort owner has no reasons whatsoever to play the first Wii Sport. This is like giving you the demo of a game alongside the full game and pretending they are 2games. They should have bundled it with NSMBWii or Mario Galaxy 2 alongside Wii Sport Resort, those could ''compete'' with Forza4/skyrim and UC3... But 2 Wii sport games?! Rly Nintendo?!

The 360 is a nice package, although I'd much rather have a physical copy of Skyrim instead of a redeemable code.

If I'm a first-time buyer though, I'd probably go for Wii. It's the least expensive, and it has two accessible, easy-to-learn games.

The two other bundles would be a much more costly purchase, only because my OCD would demand that I play Forza 1, 2, and 3, or Uncharted 1 and 2. I couldn't just start with the third, fourth, or fifth game in a series.

I would take the Ps3 bundle but only because I don't have one :P

If I didn't own any of the systems that would be a hard choice. I would take Uncharted 3 over Forza 4, but I would take Skyrim over Dust 514. Geez that is a hard choice, but I guess Xbox because Skyrim is actually worth something and Dust 514 is essentially free-to-play.

both consoles are pretty damn even when it comes to value, but I think the extra $20 for the Ps3 bundle will push people over to the 360 slightly more. Plus Halo 4 will probably be a big influence.

Why would you ever play the older titles in a racing game. There is no story and everything about the game which is important like graphics and physics are significantly downgraded the further back you go. I understand with uncharted though as the story is an integral part of the experience.

OP: The Wii came in 3rd during the holidays last year right? With the WiiU coming out soon and the lack of compelling games offered I would say that Nintendo has the worst package. Personally I think the 360 bundle looks the most appealing so I would say the 360 is going to sell the best during these holidays.
