I believe he said previously that Halo 4 and Assassin's Creed 3 were all waaaay higher preorders than the preorder posts that were here as well, so I'm expecting some amazing numbers from all three.

Didn't MW3 break this record? What game launched better than MW3?

Yeah, I have a copy reserved for myself, im not a big fan of the series im just looking like a large multiplayer shooter. Somewhat like balltefield but battlefield has more substance than COD (personal opinion of course)

Looking forward for the realese and playing with my friends.

Prediction: Black Cops II will break all launch records for a game, and some gamers will whine about a generic shooter taking top prize yet again while lamenting the fact that none of their beloved and original games were the ones to do so.

You know, unique and original titles like Final Fantasy MCMLXXXVIII.

MW3 did indeed launch better, but numerous sources say that the legs of Black Ops are better and it's now tracking Blops.
We have it still the other way around.

When I was playing COD about 10 years back I never thought it would ever become such a huge franchise.
To be honest I thought MOH would be the one to go galactic. What do I know.

I lost interest a couple or so years back but might get BO2 because it has gone "futuristic"... or at least a part of it.

The wording makes it sound like it already has more preorders than MW3 did total. But even alligned vgchartz has black ops 2 way behind.  Wonder if vgchartz will fix this with next weeks preorders.

Wowzers! I knew it would be big (duh) but I wasn't sure it would top MW3 or not. At least Treyarch installments deserve good sales, they put a lot into their game unlike IW. There have been a million updates to Black Ops and it is a much better game now than on launch day. I hope they have the same level of support for BO2. Vonderhaar has talked about how they set it up so perks are easy to go in and adjust via updates...so that should help keep things balanced of issues arise.

I'm part of those pre-order's. I have that and ac3 pre-ordered. black ops 2 will be my last game of the year,as I'm already over-whelmed with all the games I have. lol

Will this madness ever end?!
