Forums - Microsoft Discussion - The Xbox 360 Gets a $50 Price Cut at GameStop and other major retailers

Needs more games and IP's. Seriously. Unless you're a Halo or Gears nerd, it's not worth it.

Biggest thing though would be decreasing the price of Live...since you know paying to be play games online you own is a scam.

This late into the generation it pretty much doesn't need a lot of more games and new IP's should be kept for the next generation.

Halo, Gears.... Forza, Fable, and a bunch of other noteworthy titles you won't find on other platforms.

Providing online services is very expensive therefore charging for online services is justified. Don't want to pay? Don't pay. But you don't have to piss and moan about it.

I hope this will be nationwide and apply to the Halo 4 bundle. I really want the Halo 4 console but I can't justify it when my launch Xbox 360 still works just fine.

Agree, if you don't want to pay to play online, just buy another console. Or, much better, a PC.

Surprise price cut. In a era where there are leaks at every turn, this is a welcome surprise.

FYI, Canada dropped them too by $50.

But ya.....ABOUT DAMN TIME! After 4 years......geez. Now bring it to Europe!

Think they could have done a biiiit more, like lowering the bundle prices lower.

But that $150 360 is gonna be a huge hit for those working class/lower income families.

If the PS3 jumps the bandwagon, the HD twins will hurt badly WiiU launch.
