I am almost too hyped for Ni No Kuni.

mad fans acually get tons of games for their games console, that's just sad....

Good. Good for Rol.
Yes, next year is a year I'm looking forward to. For my personal tastes (and only confirmed stuff), I'm hyped about:
Tales of Xillia
Ni No Kuni
The Last of Us
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Beyond: Two Souls
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes
I know it's not the biggest list, but my hype for these 6 games is pretty big. I tend not to get too excited for things which are a long way into the future, but still!
This makes how many consecutive "year of the PS3?" 5?
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
The Last of Us
Grand Theft Auto V
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeros
Can't wait for these games to release. Looking forward to all of them. I'm a huge MGS fan and I wasn't expecting another MGS game so I am very excited for this. The trailer was great... can't wait to play as Big Boss again. Also enjoyed the Uncharted series so I'm sure Naughty Dog won't disappoint with The Last of Us. And GTAV we all know is going to be good.
"This makes how many consecutive "year of the PS3?" 5?" Mr Khan
I think we need to wait until the PS3 is done with before we give the title "year of the PS3". Every year is better than the last!
Beyond: Two Souls looks really interesting, but I'm going to need confirmation somehow that the game-play keeps up with the concept. I hope it does, though, because what I've seen so far definitely has my attention.
And, yeah, I know first-party hype threads can get a bit silly, but ultimately they're just a place to talk about games, and that's not bad. You see them for all the consoles--OK, well, maybe not general threads for the 360. For a lot of people, myself included, exclusive games were a major factor in deciding which gaming system to invested in. I think being interested and excited is understandable. When I decided to buy a console (PC gamer for the start of this gen), I looked at all the lists of known, upcoming exclusives, which played a large part in my decision.
Some people seem to think it's wrong for a console to get a lot of support, or that people shouldn't be looking forward to new games.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The Last of Us was announced and unveiled at the end of 2011. We didn't get any major details or video on it until E3. Surely, you can do better. |
"Surely" I don't need to, 2 out of 3 is still a pretty good ratio.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
