Oh well that means RE7 is going to be even worse than RE6.

Aside from the glowing famitsu review, have reactions to RE6 in Japan been positive compared to the West?

well look at the user reviews in the OP:

46 for PS3 version and 10 for 360 version

Ah so that's what those numbers are...yikes.

PS3 and Resident Evil both underperformed compared to my predictions... but I think I was led by the COMG crew... 70k PS3 was a real stretch. Even though not 800k, still a respectable number for RE. The expectative is if will reach a million or not, but I think it can!

Yikes at Vita! Sub 8k
Next weel is bound to be the new low...?

3DS 65k, still great!... next week is one of my most anticipated weeks of the year... new blue 3DS, Project X-Zone and Bravely Default

C'mon Vicviper. It did great whether it didn't meet your expectation or not. You can't deny that mate. It didn't underperform. Selling twice it's predeccesor.

According to my expectations and everyone else on COMG thread. Not saying they didn't do good.

[PS3] Final Fantasy XIII - 1,516,532 / 1,905,979 {2009-12-17} (Square Enix)
[PS3] Resident Evil 6 - 643,802 / NEW {2012-10-04} (Capcom)
[PS3] One Piece: Pirate Warriors - 627,214 / 812,530 {2012-03-01} (Bandai Namco)
[PS3] Final Fantasy XIII-2 - 605,660 / 840,670 {2011-12-15} (Square Enix)
[PS3] Tales of Xillia - 512,544 / 654,882 {2011-09-08} (Bandai Namco)

Combined LTD total for RE5: 644381
Combined first week total for RE6: 672411
Tell me in my face it under-perform.

Decent boost for the ps3 considering RE6 as well as the release of the new super slim ps3.

3ds has a nice hold with no new games released. Looking forward to next week. Project X and Bravely Default along with the blue/black LL should be nice!

Vita really started to tank again, under 8k already. I wonder what it'll bottom out at?

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

"According to mine and almost everybody on COMG thread predictions"

Jeesh. We can still have expectations , right? It didn't flopped, performed bad or bombed if that's what you mean. It did great, but I, and more posters, expected more, simple. Mine wasn't even the high end prediction... not at all

^ With only one week it already surpassed RE5! That`s really something.

Is it me, or Wii is slowly decreasing this past weeks? Will Nintendo do something to keep it alive after Wii U arrives or is this the end of the road? Maybe a price drop will help.

NSMB 2 is doing better than i thought. For a moment i felt it would keep on falling and stabilize at a lower number.

is this the lowest Vita has ever gone?

nice RE6 numbers! 360 selling more than Wii :O!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

The game was on fire on COMG... and the brand grew a lot in recent times in japan.

Anyway, for the last time... it did wonderful! Just not as high we expected. There. (proved false, see my next post)

No it's been lower than that before.
