I probably won't be getting around to playing it until Friday. Is it awesome, or is it a huge letdown?

Thanks fro reminding me, downloading now. I'm sure you're not interested in my overall and past judgments of the Forza series, but you already said it for me: It's awesome, culminating in a huge let down. (only my expert opinion)

Definitely a great demo based on my 30 minutes of play time. When you first start playing the controls are a little different than any previous Forza game, more arcady. I changed in the difficulty settings from normal to simulation, and it felt a bit more like a traditional Forza game.

The demo was limited in the areas you could explore, but there was still plenty to do. Graphics look stunning like any forza game and beautiful vistas of mountain ranges and such.

Definitely recommend anyone to give the demo a try, especially if your skeptical.

The demo is promoted on the home page of the dashboard in Canada, but it links to an empty page with only a link to the full game page. It's not under demos either. Maybe filtered out since I don't have gold?

It's categorized as racing & flying??? Is that another glitch, or can you fly?

I live in Canada and the demo is there but I think that if you don't have a gold account you would have to wait a little longer to grab it.

The demo is great, love the different surfaces and there seems to be a lot to do in the game. Graphically there's nothing to complain about except I hope there is a snow road since it's located in Colorado. I had a hard time with the driving at first too but it's a little more arcadey than Forza but if people are right with putting the settings for more simulation this game is a clear winner. Now I will get both Halo and Forza for sure.
